It seems everyone in my family has spare time. Leisure time. Time to do whatever they want, or nothing. Everyone BUT me. I’m the person who makes everyone else’s leisure time possible. I can’t slow down. If I do, I’m fairly certain the world will end.
The Weekend Sofa Warrior
Every Friday I plan a super-productive weekend filled with things I need to do. Then the fatigue from the week sets in…Or a dog sits on me…or both. Either way, nothing gets done, but I don’t beat myself up over that. I am a woman who wears multiple hats in a blended family. I’m allowed to relax.
